Pride of Tuscaloosa and Prevention Services is dedicated to providing proven and effective drug prevention education programs to youth in Tuscaloosa. It provides prevention programs in eight local high schools and one middle school. PRIDE has 30 years of experience in subastance abuse prevention in Tuscaloosa. It is an affiliate of PRIDE National Youth Programs, the nation's oldest and largest peer-to-peer organization devoted to substance abuse prevention and safe and healthy choices through education.
PRIDE of Tuscaloosa and Prevention Services performs activities throughout the community to create substance abuse awareness and to reduce substance abuse. It reaches these goals by supporting PRIDE teams, sponsoring educational classes and providing prevention material to parents, students and the community.
